Kehinde Wiley is an established artist and has already made a name for himself, but it wouldn’t hurt to introduce him to those who haven’t heard of him and use the opportunity to revisit his works.
Born in LA, living and working in New York, Wiley is famous for his realistic portraits of men of mostly African and African-American origin.
In October 2011, Wiley received the Artist of the Year Award from the New York City Art Teachers Association/United Federation of Teachers. He also received Canteen Magazine’s Artist of the Year Award.

No Way Home is a photo series of Rafa Zubiria, artist and photographer living in Madrid, Spain. In these dream-like, surreal images, buildings are shown levitating in the air.
Maya Hayuk is a muralist, painter, photographer, printmaker, video artist and musician who lives in Brooklyn, New York by way of San Francisco, Baltimore, Boston and Toronto. From her large-scale installations to small works on paper, her obsession with symmetry and nourishing color play out in what might be views from the Hubble Telescope, airbrushed nail art, Mexican woven blankets, Ukrainian Easter eggs, chandeliers, mandalas, Rorschach tests and/ or holograms.

Linnea Strid lives in Uppsala, Sweden where she creates her hyper-realistic oil paintings. Usually, water is the central element of the work, represented in a way that makes you think: is this a photograph or indeed a painting?
Erik Månsson is a graphic designer and illustrator from Norrköping, Sweden. He makes brutaly good digital collages.





Sobekcis, or Sobek and Kcis are the aliases of two graffiti artists. Those talented twins are born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1991, started painting graffiti in 2005 and been active ever since. Although very young, those two are probably the best of Belgrade nowadays, and predicting success for them is stating the obvious.
They are representing both a local Serbian crew MofoS and a internationally well known crew Heavy Artillery.









Filip Burburan a.k.a. Morka is an illustrator from Rijeka, Croatia.
Honestly, I’ve never put more effort in finding info about any artist before, so this time it was like seeking for a secret treasure. So, here they are, the works of a master of morbid creatures.
Filip was born in Rijeka, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and he currently works as illustrator in Boonar Studio.
He is a part of ZEK crew, a collective of eight young artists, as well as YCP graffiti crew from Croatia.
He has participated in many group exhibitions and festivals, and yet we know so little about him. Hats off and take a look at his pieces.











Lortek (Slivnjak Aleksandar) is a graffiti artist from Belgrade, Serbia.
He was born in 1980 and has been active in graffiti and street art since 1998. In 2000 he filmed “A Wall for me”, a documentary about the graffiti scene in Serbia, broadcasted on Serbian National Television (RTS).
He is a member of an international group YCP (founded in 1992) and in 2006 he formed MofoS – the world’s most famous graffiti crew from Serbia.
He has participated in many international festivals and group exhibitions, opened the first graffiti shop and started the first graffiti school in Serbia, painted over 100 walls in Serbia and over 20 in the world.
Inspired by GRIME, lives and works in Belgrade.

Carnovsky, a Milan based artist duo (Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla), present their first show in the UK , ‘La Selva‘.
They are known for their use of the RGB technique – exploring the depth of surfaces by overlapping primary colour images, making multilayered print. Placing a red, green or blue colored filter over the image reveals one of the three levels.
The exhibition is on view until september 21st, 2011.
